7 Common Palletizing Line Faults & One-Click Troubleshooting Solutions for On-site Workers
During long-term 24-hour high-intensity operation, palletizing production lines will inevitably have minor common faults. Most shutdown problems do not require professional after-sales engineers. We summarize 7 on-site frequent faults and simple troubleshooting methods for front-line operators to solve problems quickly and shorten shutdown time.
Fault 1: Equipment cannot start after power on
Reason: Emergency stop button is not reset or safety fence door is open.
Solution: Reset all emergency stop buttons, close safety fence door tightly, and restart the control system.
Fault 2: Conveyor runs but products do not move forward
Reason: Conveyor belt slips or driving roller lacks tension.
Solution: Adjust belt tension knob, clean rubber dust on roller surface.
Fault 3: Robotic arm/column palletizer grabs goods unstably and drops materials
Reason: Air pressure insufficient or suction cup worn.
Solution: Adjust air compressor pressure, replace aging vacuum suction cup.
Fault 4: Stacked pallets are skewed and loose
Reason: Product positioning offset or palletizing program parameter drift.
Solution: Restart positioning corrector, restore factory palletizing program parameters.
Fault 5: Safety light curtain alarms frequently without reasons
Reason: Dust covers infrared sensor.
Solution: Wipe the light curtain lens with clean dry cloth.
Fault 6: Automatic pallet feeder cannot output empty pallets
Reason: Pallets are stuck mutually or separation cylinder pressure is insufficient.
Solution: Rearrange stacked empty pallets, adjust cylinder air pressure.
Fault 7: Whole line linkage stops suddenly
Reason: Front-end packaging machine sends fault signal.
Solution: Eliminate packaging machine fault first, then reset linkage system.
Tips for Daily Fault Avoidance
Do not shield safety protection devices privately; do not modify palletizing program parameters without authorization; clean material debris on the line in time. For complex hardware failures that cannot be solved manually, contact our overseas after-sales team for remote support or door-to-door service directly.
